Tom is an associate in the intellectual property team and provides advice on a range of intellectual property issues. He has extensive experience in the life sciences sector and has particular expertise in animal health following a previous career as an academic and clinical specialist veterinary surgeon.
He has led research programmes in biomechanics, gene therapy, regenerative medicine and biomedical devices at a variety of institutions internationally and brings this experience to his work advising innovative clients on patent and know-how licensing, R&D and collaboration agreements and patent disputes.
