Luke is an associate in our Real Estate & Construction group. He specialises in complex construction arbitration and litigation. He has acted for clients with projects in Europe, the Middle East and South America.
Luke has extensive experience representing clients in high value arbitration proceedings, including acting as lead advocate and conducting cross-examination of witnesses and experts.
Many of Luke's disputes have involved substantial claims relating to project finance documentation, including facility agreements, subordinated loan agreements, and intra-group guarantees. Luke is therefore well versed in the specific legal considerations which apply to claims in connection with the financing of construction projects.
Alongside his contentious practice, Luke has experience advising on and negotiating international construction contracts (including the FIDIC forms), guarantees and bonds.
