An international team advised Stockholm-based audio, tech, and design powerhouse Marshall Group on its significant change in ownership, welcoming funds managed by private equity firm HongShan Capital Group (HSG) which acquired a majority stake in Marshall Group. HSG acquired its stake from major selling shareholders Altor, Telia Company, Time For Growth, and Zenith VC.
The transaction, which valued Marshall Group at EUR1.1 billion, represents HSG's largest investment in Europe to date. The Marshall family will retain a significant stake of over 20% in the company.
