Lucy has more than six years of litigation experience at a top-tier Australian firm, with expertise in regulatory litigation and investigations in the financial services sector. Lucy's experience extends to class actions, large-scale internal investigations, arbitrations and general commercial litigation.
Lucy acts for clients in the finance, automotive, healthcare, banking, retail and manufacturing industries, and for multiple regulators and government agencies.
With experience litigating securities class actions, regulatory derivatives litigation, negligence disputes, corporations litigation, contractual disputes, and multi-billion dollar consumer protection class actions, Lucy has depth of experience and is adept at managing a team in the lead up to, and during, litigation. Lucy's work spans all stages of the litigation process - she has successfully defended strike-out and pre-proceeding discovery applications and successfully sought freezing and travel restraint orders for her clients.
While in Australia, Lucy spent a year on secondment at Australia's corporate regulator, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Having acted for and against multiple regulators, she is skilled at managing both regulatory and internal investigations.
