Christopher Komodromou

Chris is a senior counsel in the Real Estate group. He has a real breadth of experience working with a variety of clients including investors, developers, funds, owner occupiers and entrepreneurs. He advises on a broad range of asset classes in real estate including student housing, hotels, stadia, offices, logistics and retail and leisure. Chris also deals with a range of investment and development transactions in the commercial real estate sector. He specialises in complex development work with a particular focus on the living, hotels, hospitality and leisure and stadia real estate sub-sectors.

McLaren Property on GBP175 million deal	McLaren Property on a GBP175 million forward funding with Brookfield's Student Roost. The funding will be used by McLaren to develop three new student accommdation schemes delivering a total of 1,387 beds to two prime, regional cities; Warwick and Brighton. The schemes will be delivered for the 2020/21 and 2021/22 academic years, with two schemes in Warwick and one in Brighton.
R&F Properties on high profile development sites in London	Advising on real estate matters, site set up and disposals, construction, finance, planning, infrastructure, highways, and CIL matters across four major development sites. Work is ongoing on this impressive portfolio of developments. The total number of residential units is over 4,000, in addition to retail, office, hotel and leisure floor space uses.
Redevelopment of Brentford Football Club	Brentford Football Club on all legal issues relating to the development of their new stadium covering real estate, planning, construction, corporate finance, IP, media and technology matters. Taylor Wessing advised on the redevelopment plans for the existing ground, Griffin Park, and the development of land for a new stadium together with match day corporate facilities, accommodation for the Sports Trust, and 910 residential units and a hotel.

McLaren Property on the multi-billion pound delivery of development projects since their inception in 2010

McLaren Property on their acquisitions and redevelopments since their inception in 2010. Whilst McLaren are active across multiple sectors, the bulk of the projects undertaken have been in the purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) and residential sectors. Taylor Wessing has advised on redevelopment projects undertaken both independently and in joint venture partnerships with sector specialists, with a current pipeline of development assets totalling GBP1.5bn.
