Charlotte is a senior counsel in the Corporate group and is part of the Corporate Finance team.
She specialises in advising companies, investors and private shareholders on a broad range of corporate matters, including public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures and general corporate issues. She has particular expertise and experience acting on complex and high-value private M&A transactions, within the structured real estate and financial services sectors. Charlotte has regularly worked on deals that have required her to manage, organise and co-ordinate multiple jurisdictions and which have required the implementation of complicated transaction structures. Charlotte is an avid user of innovative technology to support transaction processes.
Charlotte joined Taylor Wessing as an associate in 2015.
Cara Real Estate, the real estate arm of Cara Investment, on its acquisition of 7-10 Waterloo Place from real estate investment manager Barings. The Grade II listed office building in St James' was sold for GBP71m and is Cara's second London deal following the purchase of 20 Soho Square for GBP117m in 2018. This transaction drew on the deep expertise offered by the firm's real estate, construction, planning, banking and finance and corporate teams.
