Taylor Wessing advises Eternit Austria on its sale of subsidiary Dach & Wand

Taylor Wessing has advised Eternit Austria on the sale of its subsidiary Dach & Wand to the Danish STARK Group. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price and the transaction was closed at the end of March 2022.

The seller was advised by a Taylor Wessing Vienna team led by the two partners Raimund Cancola and Claudia Steegmüller (both Corporate). Further involved partners included: Martin Eckel (Competition, EU & trade), Martin Prohaska-Marchried (IP), Andreas Schütz (Data protection) and Peter Solt (Real estate).

The STARK Group was advised by a team led by partners Philipp Schrader and Peter Winkler from the law firm E+H.

With seven branches, Dach & Wand Handels GmbH is one of the leading companies in the distribution of heavy building materials in Austria and serves more than 3,200 professional tradesmen. Eternit has been part of the Swisspearl Group since 2009.
