With the current Tier 1 ranking by Chambers Germany, the international commercial law firm Taylor Wessing in Germany has now achieved another top ranking in the field of venture capital in the major league tables for the German legal market. In addition to Chambers, Taylor Wessing's venture capital team has already been listed as a Tier 1 firm in JUVE's German Commercial Law Firms 2024/45 handbook and in The Legal 500. With Chambers Germany's vote, the VC group, led by Taylor Wessing partner Dr Jens Wolf, has now completed the ‘triple’.

The Chambers Germany Guide was published for the first time this year. The comprehensive ranking of the best law firms and lawyers in Germany recommends Taylor Wessing in 22 practice areas and sectors. The firm takes first place in the area of private equity: venture capital. In addition, Taylor Wessing is listed in five categories for the first time: Public Law: Public Procurement/PPP, Restructuring/Insolvency, Employment, Insurance Transactional and Energy.
Taylor Wessing has also received a 5-star rating in five legal areas in this year's JUVE Handbook of Commercial Law Firms and has improved its rating in the legal areas of environmental and planning law, labour law: advice to companies and transport sector: financing. At the JUVE Awards 2024, which traditionally take place the day before the handbooks are published, Taylor Wessing Austria also won the coveted title of Law Firm of the Year Austria.
In the current edition of The Legal 500 Germany 2024 ranking, Taylor Wessing is ranked in thirteen practice areas, with several of its lawyers receiving particular recognition. Overall, the law firm is recommended in 41 practice areas.
