Recognition in the first Legal 500 EMEA Green Guide

International law firm Taylor Wessing has been recognised for its commitment to external and internal Environmental Social Governance (ESG) initiatives with a listing in the first The Legal 500 EMEA Green Guide. 

The requirements for a listing in the EMEA Green Guide include relevant advisory services in the areas of ESG, sustainability, climate measures and net zero projects. Taylor Wessing offers its clients from all industry sectors tailor-made solutions in legal matters relating to ESG. To achieve this, the firm’s lawyers work together from all practice areas and take an international approach. The legal advice covers areas such as sustainable financing and investments, green leases, energy concepts or product liability. There is a current focus on the implementation of the German Supply Chain Act in companies and the legal integration of sustainability in compliance management systems. 

Independent law firm initiatives are also included in the evaluation of The Legal 500: Taylor Wessing Germany was able to impress in particular with its environmental policy and annual environmental report. In addition, the law firm has been audited for the third time in a row according to corporate social responsibility standards set by EcoVadis, the world’s largest provider of sustainability ratings.
