Nasdaq and Toronto Stock Exchange listed Mitel Group sells its German direct systems integrator DeTeWe Communications GmbH to Ostertag. Taylor Wessing has been advising Mitel in this transaction, through which Mitel is selling its non-core system integration business to Ostertag, a prominent platform-independent ICT systems integrator in Germany. Upon Closing, DeTeWe Communications, as part of the Ostertag Group, will continue to be a channel partner for Mitel in Germany, and all other existing suppliers. With its global headquarters in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Mitel is a global market leader in business communications serving more than 70 million business users in more than 100 countries. The parties agreed not to reveal the purchase price. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions including merger control clearance.
