Shervin is a private funds specialist, with extensive experience advising both fund managers and institutional investors on their fund formation and investment activities.
He has particular experience advising fund managers on all aspects of the establishment, structuring and operation of a wide range of private investment funds globally, including private equity, growth capital, infrastructure, venture capital, private credit, funds of funds and co-investment funds. In addition, Shervin advises fund managers on their internal matters, including management vehicle set-up and structuring, carried interest and GP commitment arrangements, as well as their co-investment activities.
Shervin has considerable experience advising institutional investors making investments into, and co-investments alongside, private investment funds. He also advises investors on bespoke arrangements, including separate managed accounts and ‘funds of one’. Shervin has a particular understanding of investors’ requirements, having completed secondments with several institutional investors, including the Universities Superannuation Scheme in London and the European Investment Fund in Luxembourg.
