Jan is a specialist lawyer in the field of information technology law. He specialises in IT contract law, data protection law, software licencing, e-commerce, and gambling laws.
Among other things, he heads up the external advisory team for a variety of projects concerning the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), providing advice to national and international clients. Moreover, Jan assists foreign companies from the software and online-entertainment industry in dealing with the challenges of the German market in terms of regulatory requirements, contract law, and matters relating to IP law.
