The EU Whistleblowing Directive was due to be transposed into national law by 17 December 2021. But progress has been inconsistent/slow. 

Some Member States including France, Denmark and Sweden have implemented it, but others have delayed, creating a complicated legal situation for companies/businesses with EU-based operations.
