Taylor Wessing France advised Gazoleen and its co-founder Mathieu Ruet on the sale of Gazoleen to Nomadia Group, backed by Hg.
Founded in 2014 by Mathieu Ruet and Mikael Serreau, Gazoleen (Smart Source Development) is an app renowned for its user-friendly design and its ability to automate all business processes. With over 1,000 corporate clients, the software has become a benchmark in optimizing maintenance operations in the heating and air conditioning sector. Gazoleen was designed by field professionals with the aim of enabling craftsmen and small businesses to deliver excellent customer service.
Joining Nomadia will enable Smart Source Development (publisher of the Gazoleen solution) to benefit from resources and support to accelerate its international development, while preserving its user-friendly solution focused on business process automation and end-customer satisfaction.
With this acquisition, Nomadia, one of the European leaders in SaaS solutions for mobile professionals (sales representatives, technicians, and delivery drivers), continues its strategic expansion while enriching its offering with an expert business solution. The acquisition of the Gazoleen solution enables Nomadia to strengthen its position in the wood heating, pellet and air conditioning equipment sector, targeting mainly craftsmen and small businesses specialising in maintenance, servicing and after-sales service.
The Taylor Wessing team advised Mathieu Ruet on the corporate aspects of the transaction, with Gilles Amsallem, Dalila Mabrouki-Jacques (partners), Sébastien Pottemain and Amira Abaoub (associates).
