tado GmbH: Taylor Wessing advises Trill Impact and Kiko Ventures on a €55 million financing round

A team of Taylor Wessing, led by Munich based partners Peter Hellich and Daniel Schrembs, has advised VC investors Trill Impact and Kiko Ventures on a €55 million funding round for Munich-based tado GmbH. Bayern Kapital, Zürcher Kantonalbank, S2G Ventures and existing shareholders also participated in the financing round led by Trill Impact.

tado GmbH, a manufacturer of smart home thermostats and Europe's largest smart home specialist, will use the proceeds from the round to further develop its recently acquired smart energy tariff business aWATTar, as well as further growth and product development of its core smart thermostat offering.
