Remarkable development on the Polish legal market: 10 experienced lawyers, all coming from Deloitte Legal, will have joined Taylor Wessing Poland until the beginning of February. Whereas four lawyers including Partner Łukasz Szymański came aboard on 1 December, a group of further lawyers including Partner Zbigniew Korba will follow in the upcoming two months. Most of them are experts in Banking & finance, some in Real estate. Taylor Wessing Warsaw will therefore substantially strengthen these areas of law which represent a strategic focus point for the firm and which show great potential especially in Poland.

Both Zbigniew and Łukasz are renowned Banking & finance experts in Poland and even beyond. For over 20 years Zbigniew has specialised in advising clients mainly from the financial and real estate sectors. He has represented financial institutions, multinational corporations, and many domestic and foreign investors in both transactional matters and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Taylor Wessing he was a Partner and the Head of Banking & finance team at Deloitte Legal. He also worked at PwC Legal and Salans (currently Dentons).
Łukasz specialises in providing legal advice to the financial services industry, focusing on regulatory (mainly banking and insurance law) and reorganisations, but he has also been active in structured finance. Before joining Taylor Wessing he worked at K&L Gates, Wardynski & Partners, Deloitte Legal and the Polish FSA. As a Partner in the Banking & finance team, Łukasz will focus on financial services regulatory and will lead the Insurance practice of Taylor Wessing in Poland.
