Taylor Wessing advises Vestas on Project Agreements for Offshore Wind Farm Baltic Eagle

International law firm Taylor Wessing has advised the Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas on the negotiations of the project agreements for the German offshore wind farm Baltic Eagle.

Subject of the agreements with Spanish utility Iberdrola is the supply and installation of 50 units of the wind turbine V174-9.5MV with a rotor blade diameter of 174 meters, including service and maintenance.

The Baltic Eagle offshore wind farm is located in the German exclusive economic zone of the Baltic Sea, around 75 kilometers northeast of the island of Rügen off the coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and will have a total installed capacity of 476 megawatts (MW) when it is completed in 2024.

The Taylor Wessing team was led by German partners André Guskow and Dr. Janina Pochhammer who both focus on large scale infrastructure projects in particular within the renewable energy sector.
