sennder GmbH has concluded an extension of the Series D financing round with a volume of around 80 million US dollars including investments from existing shareholders and new investors. The extension of the Series D financing round was based on a valuation of sennder in excess of one billion US dollars. Based on the existing client relationship, a team from the international law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Hamburg-based partner Jens Wolf, advised sennder on all legal issues in connection with the extension of the Series D financing round.
Among the investors in the extension of the Series D financing round is the new investor Baillie Gifford, who also invested in growth companies such as Amazon, Tesla and Spotify.
sennder connects transport companies and commercial shippers in road-bound full truck load (FTL) transport via a platform-based digital booking system and thereby efficiently and cost-effectively processes transport orders that can be planned in cooperation with the transport companies.
sennder intends to invest a large part of the funds raised in the extension of the Series D financing round in its own growth and the further development of its technology.
