sennder GmbH has raised approximately 130 million euros from existing shareholders and new investors in a Series D financing round. The Series D financing round raises sennder's valuation to over one billion US dollars and makes the Berlin-based logistics start-up a so-called "unicorn". A team from the international law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Hamburg-based partner Jens Wolf, advised sennder on all legal issues in connection with the Series D financing round based on the existing client relationship.
Among the investors in the Series D financing round are existing shareholders Accel, Lakestar, HV Capital, Project A and Scania.
sennder connects transport companies and commercial shippers in road-bound full truck load (FTL) transport via a platform-based digital booking system and thereby efficiently and cost-effectively processes transport orders that can be planned in cooperation with the transport companies. Currently, sennder employs around 800 people working at locations in seven countries.
sennder intends to invest a large part of the funds raised in the Series D financing round in its own growth and the further development of its technology.by multiple authors
