We have been recognised by The Times' Best Law Firms 2021.
This is the third consecutive year since inception of the awards, that the firm has been recognised. We've been commended across five categories in this year's report including company and commercial, private client (inheritance & succession), intellectual property and technology, media & telecoms.
Firms in the report are recognised as a result of direct market feedback. A survey conducted by The Times in April each year asks solicitors in England and Wales to nominate the best law firms across 26 categories, covering the business, public and private-client fields. 4,619 individuals fed into this year's report, an increase from 3,271 the previous year.
Our work on the US $550 million Babylon deal, one of the largest ever fund-raising rounds for a British start-up, and our work on the £60 million funding round for Monzo was especially commended. We were also praised for our work with the UK government on the establishment of the Future Fund, providing loans to early stage, high-growth firms to help them through the coronavirus crisis.
Managing Partner Shane Gleghorn said: "We are committed to exceeding our clients' expectations through a combination of teamwork, creativity and technology. This award underscores our expertise, and market-leading client experience, in respect of TMC, intellectual property, especially as it relates to life sciences and technology, and private wealth. We believe that our clients value the fact that our experts have a deep understanding of those sectors, and that we are always striving to exceed our client's initial expectation of what is achievable."
