Advising on major healthcare sale of Nucleus Global to Huntsworth

We have advised on the sale of specialist medical communications group, Nucleus Global, to international healthcare and communications group Huntsworth. The sale is subject to German competition authority clearance.

Nucleus has over 800 experts and 14 offices delivering events, publications and digital programmes for the major healthcare and medical brands around the world.

This transaction drew on the expertise offered by the firm’s corporate, incentives, IP, data, real estate, employment, pensions and tax teams.

Senior Partner Dominic FitzPatrick, who led the deal, said: "Nucleus Global is the largest independent medical specialist communications network in the world. It and Huntsworth are two highly complementary businesses. We are delighted to have advised on this very significant transaction within a sector that is a core strategic focus area for us."

Stephen Cameron, Chairman and CEO of Nucleus Global, said: "This is a significant milestone for Nucleus Global. Taylor Wessing came highly recommended, and deserves its reputation as one of the UK's leading law firms for advising companies in the healthcare sector."

The team was led by Senior Partner Dominic FitzPatrick with support from senior associate Suzy Penney, associates Alice Picton and Luc Swietochowski, and paralegal Sarah Palmer.

Additional advices were provided by incentives partner Ann Casey, and tax associate Marina Constanti and tax partner, Liz Wilson, IP and media partner Adam Rendle, data partner Graham Hann and senior associate Jared McIntosh, real estate partner Emma Oakley and associate Salome Parayre, employment associate Katie Davenport and pensions senior associate Hadassah Shulman.
