Louisa is senior counsel in the Financial Services & Competition group specialising in all aspects of EU and UK competition law. She advises across a variety of sectors: pharma, patent pools, media & entertainment, sport, telecoms, real estate and life sciences. Louisa has extensive experience in contentious matters, including both European Commission and OFT cartel investigations, and regularly represents clients before the European Commission and the European Courts as well as the UK competition authorities and Courts. She advises on all aspects of defending competition investigations, including dawn raids, leniency and responding to Statements of Objection and she also advised on the first Article 9 commitments decision to be taken by the European Commission with respect to an industry body.
