Jakob Horn is a member of the practice area Technology, Media & Telecoms. He advises companies in particular on AI governance, data protection, IT contract law and IT security, as well as related disputes.
A key focus is advising companies on the implementation of the AI Act. He advises both providers and deployers of AI on the practical as well as legally compliant implementation of the AI Act and on the consideration of other legal obligations associated with AI and contract drafting. Another focus is representing companies in technology-related disputes. In particular, he represents companies in connection with data protection and IT security incidents before authorities, in defending against claims for damages by affected parties and in enforcing claims against third parties (such as service providers with inadequate IT security levels or the enforcement of claims arising from IT contracts).
