cargo.one has raised a total of USD 18.6 million from lead investor Index Ventures, with the participation of Next47, the existing shareholders Creandum, Lufthansa Cargo and Point Nine Capital and famous business angels including Tom Stafford of DST Gobal and Carlos Gonzalez-Cadenas, currently COO of GoCardless and former CPO of Skycanner. A Venture Capital team of Taylor Wessing, led by Frankfurt partner Hassan Sohbi, has advised Index Ventures in this series A financing round of Cargo One.
cargo.one, founded by Oliver Neumann, Moritz Claussen and Mike Rötgers, is building an operating system for air cargo to simplify and streamline the fragmented market. The objective is to make booking air cargo as easy as booking a holiday via Skyscanner or Kayak.
