Tamara Ghuneim is a US-qualified corporate lawyer with experience advising international and regional clients on cross-border transactions, regulatory matters and commercial contracts across the Middle East.
Tamara has advised clients in the petrochemical, energy, telecommunications, healthcare, financial services and technology sectors. Her work includes drafting and negotiating complex local and cross-border commercial agreements, advising foreign investors on employment and data protection compliance, and supporting multinational companies on mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and regulatory approvals.
She has particular experience in Kuwait-related matters, including advising on novel equity issuances, coordinating with multiple regulatory authorities, and representing international clients in disputes arising from government contracts. Tamara has also contributed to market-facing thought leadership, including co-authoring a Chambers and Partners publication on debt finance trends in Kuwait.
She is admitted to practise in New York and Massachusetts and holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (High Honors) from the University of California, Berkeley. She is fluent in Arabic and English.
