Taylor Wessing was honoured with the ‘Deal of the Year 2025’ award at this year’s M&A Award Night hosted by the German Mergers & Acquisitions Association (BM&A). The firm's venture capital team received the award for advising investors General Catalyst, Lightspeed and Accel on the recent Series D financing round of AI defence company Helsing.
The ceremony took place on 8 October 2025 at TIPI AM KANZLERAMT in Berlin. The award was accepted on behalf of the firm by Berlin-based partner and VC growth expert Dr Norman Röchert. The award-winning Taylor Wessing deal team also includes Dr Armin Bartsch, Felix Paul, Dr Hendrik Boss and Lisa Iwersen.
