We have advised Leica Geosystems AG, a Swiss industrial technology company, on its acquisition of Xwatch Safety Solutions Limited, a producer of safety technology products for the construction industry.
This was our first transaction for Leica Geosystems AG, a subsidiary of Hexagon AB, the multinational industrial technology company listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange.
Xwatch provides machine control hardware and software technologies designed to enhance safety protocols on construction sites. The acquisition will allow Hexagon to fit the array of OEM agnostic solutions developed by Xwatch into their digital construction product portfolio to address a real customer need in construction safety.
The deal was led by partner Emma Danks with support from associates Angela Petrevska, Catie Raymond, Callum McLean and paralegal Jamie Mehta in the M&A team.
