QuantumDiamonds GmbH has raised seven million euros in its seed financing round. The round was led by IQ Capital, which was comprehensively advised on all legal aspects by a Taylor Wessing team led by Berlin-based VC experts Dr Armin Bartsch and Dr Norman Röchert. Besides IQ Capital also Early Bird, Onsight Ventures, First Momentum, Creator Fund and other investors participated in this around.
The European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator and the state of Bavaria are contributing four million euros.
QuantumDiamonds, a start-up for quantum sensor technology, is developing quantum sensors that enable measurements at the atomic and molecular level and thus open up a new field of sensor technology. Great application potential is also seen in medical diagnostics and battery development.
