Hamburg-based startup Localyze has raised $35 million (approximately €35 million) in fresh capital in a Series B financing round. Among the financiers were Berlin-based venture capital investor Visionaries Club, which was advised by a Taylor Wessing team led by Hamburg VC expert Niclas von Woedtke on all German law issues related to the financing round.
In addition to Visionaries Club, other investors in the global employee mobility platform included General Catalyst, Web Summit Fund, Frontline Ventures, the founding team of Taxdoo, and Job van der Voort, CEO of Remote. Localyze's SaaS platform is directed at HR departments of companies that employ staff abroad and need support in moving employees to another country. With the newly raised capital, the three founders intend to drive Localyze's expansion in the North American market.
Visionaries Club is a venture capital investor founded in 2019 by Robert Lacher and Sebastian Pollok that invests primarily in digital B2B business models.
