Fujitsu Technology Solutions, a leading full-range IT company, has sold its cloud computing solutions provider, Unicon Software Entwicklungs- und Vertriebs GmbH. New owners are an investor which represents well-known family firms and Unicon’s Management. International law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Munich partners Dr Philip Cavaillès and Dr Peter Hellich, advised Fujitsu on the transaction. The transaction has been completed end of October.
Unicon was founded in 1993 and is a pioneer for thin client software. With the operating system eLux and the management solution Scout Unicon offers intuitive, secure and smart solutions within the area of end-user computing, which is installed worldwide at two million devices. Together with the new owner Unicon will accelerate its growth in a more agile and flexible way. Fujitsu and Unicon will remain connected closely by the renewal of its strategic partnership agreement.
