Taylor Wessing advises Encavis Asset Management AG on the acquisition of wind park Warnsdorf

Under the lead of Hamburg partner Carsten Bartholl, the international law firm Taylor Wessing provided comprehensive legal advice to Encavis Asset Management AG ("Encavis AM") on the acquisition of the "Warnsdorf" wind farm in Prignitz/Brandenburg. The Warnsdorf wind farm consists of 12 wind turbines manufactured by Vestas with a total installed capacity of 43.2 megawatts. The wind park was planned and commissioned by the renewable energy developer UKA and provides sustainably produced energy to about 40,000 households. UKA will continue to provide technical park management.

The newly acquired assets will be contributed to the Encavis Infrastructure Fund II, a special fund launched by Encavis AM. The investment offer is aimed at credit institutions that want to invest in a diversified portfolio of wind and solar parks in Europe. The special fund is administered by HANSAINVEST Lux S.A.

Taylor Wessing has already successfully advised Encavis AM on various transactions involving renewable energy generation assets in recent years.
