Catie is an associate in the Private Equity group. She specialises in advising private equity institutions, portfolio companies, management teams and other corporate clients on UK and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Catie also advises corporate clients on corporate reorganisations, disposals and general corporate and company law matters.
Catie regularly advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, particularly involving private equity institutions and large corporate clients. In connection with these transactions, Catie coordinates cross-border and multi-disciplinary teams to assist clients in undertaking due diligence exercises, preparing and negotiating sale agreements and running the completion process. She has experience in a broad range of sectors, including retail, travel, aged care, agriculture, mining and transport.
Before commencing with Taylor Wessing, Catie worked in the mergers and acquisitions space in Australia, working for a large Australian law firm, Thomson Geer. She also has previous experience in general commercial agreements and international corporate regulatory work.
