Taylor Wessing advised Banque des Territoires on its investment, alongside Amarenco, an independent renewable energy producer, in the Claudia project—one of the largest stationary battery storage facilities in France, located in Saucats (33). Following this transaction, Banque des Territoires acquired a 49% stake in the project. The current facility will double its storage capacity within a year to reach 188 MWh, enough to cover the annual electricity consumption of 24,000 households in France.
