The Frankfurt Corporate Technology team of Taylor Wessing, led by partner Hassan Sohbi and senior associate Joana Pamukova, has advised Partech Impact on its investment in the €60 million Series B Financing Round of Makersite GmbH. The round marks a significant milestone for the sustainability-focused software company as it continues to scale its digital twin platform for product and supply chain intelligence.
Founded in 2018, Makersite enables manufacturers to make informed, sustainable decisions by using AI to map product data to more than 140 material, compliance, cost, risk, and environmental databases in real-time. Its platform helps companies reduce environmental impact and accelerate product innovation, all while improving compliance and managing risks across increasingly complex supply chains.
The Series B Financing will support Makersite’s continued international expansion and the development of advanced features focused on lifecycle assessment (LCA), scope 3 emissions, and regulatory reporting.
Partech Impact is a multi-stage impact fund dedicated to investing in mission-driven startups that combine purpose with performance. It supports entrepreneurs who leverage scalable technology to solve critical environmental and societal challenges — delivering measurable and lasting positive impact.
