The list was compiled based on international rankings and industry surveys as well as recommendations from prominent figures in client communities.
Karin Pomaizlová was recognized for her outstanding work in trademark management and related Intellectual Property enforcement. She specialises in new technologies, including the Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, big data and artificial intelligence. Able to defend her clients with precision and tenacity, she is still fair and just in dealing with counterparties. In this way she has earned the trust of leading national and international clients she has represented over her more than 20 years in the sector.
Markéta Cibulková is listed thanks to growing recognition of her services in Employment law. Markéta is known for an exact and business-like approach in handling matters. Her advice to clients covers a wide range of employment law issues, including employment contracts, benefits, and bonus plans, downsizing and redundancies as well as agency employment. She also supports domestic and international companies in questions of data protection, employer obligations in relation to health and social insurance, collective bargaining, and employment disputes.
"I really value every such achievement. There have been more and more awards for our work and excellence, highlighting Taylor Wessing as an industry leader. I especially appreciate that this recognition comes not only from major industry players but is also based on client feedback. This confirms to me that we have been making our mark in the whole market in a good way, and that our clients trust us“, says Erwin Hanslik, Taylor Wessing Czech Republic ‘s managing partner.
The list was compiled by the Czech #FIRST100YEARS project representatives (#PRVNÍCH100LET) on the basis of international rankings of Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, IFLR1000 and a number of industry surveys (e.g. IP Stars), as well as the Czech Law Firm of the Year rankings, surveys prepared by Forbes magazine or the Legal Disruptors project, and also on the basis of recommendations from prominent personalities from client communities. Each category was consulted with experts active in the given field. Business categories included are those in which at least two Czech lawyers are being recognized internationally. By reviewing the recommended and awarded lawyers organizers also seek to draw attention to disproportions in representation of women and men in the profession The complete list can be found here.
