Sunfire, a Dresden based global leader in the development and production of industrial electrolyzers, secured 109 Million Euro in a series-D-funding. The round was led by Lightrock and Planet First Partners, and including Carbon Direct Capital Management, HydrogenOne Capital and existing shareholders.
The international law firm Taylor Wessing advised the shareholder SF Beteiligungs GmbH & Co KG on the financing round, led by Hamburg partner Jens Wolf on all legal aspects of the financing round.
Founded in 2010 Sunfire is a global leader in the development and production of industrial electrolyzers based on alkaline and solid oxide (SOEC) technologies. The company pioneered the production of synthetic fuels via a so-called Power-to-Liquid (PtL) process.
