Taylor Wessing advises food delivery service Flink on EUR 43 million seed financing round

Flink Lebensmittel GmbH, a Berlin-based on-demand grocery delivery service, has received 43 million Euro in new capital in its seed financing round. The seed round was led by Target Global with participation of existing investors Northzone and Cherry Ventures, and included new investors such as TriplePoint Capital and Cristina Stenbeck. International law firm Taylor Wessing, led by Berlin-based partner Norman Röchert, advised the start-up on all legal issues related to the financing round.

Flink first raised funds around six weeks ago at the official launch of its business. Together with this seed financing round, the Berlin-based company has currently raised a total of 53 million Euro, which is intended for expansion in Germany and other European countries. New shops are already scheduled to open in the Netherlands and France in the second quarter of 2021.
