Swiss Life Asset Managers has announced the sale of Neuer Dovenhof, a multi-tenant office and retail building located in the heart of Hamburg's business district. This sale was carried out by Swiss Life Asset Managers France with the support of the French and German teams of Swiss Life Asset Managers on behalf of the MAIF Group. Taylor Wessing has advised Swiss Life Asset Managers France on the disposal.
The property complex was built between 1991 and 1994 by three architects Konstantin Kleffel, Uwe Köhnholdt and Bernd Gundersmann. With a total surface area of 22,165 square meters, the complex consists of three buildings organized around a large central atrium, and rises over 12 superstructure levels and 2 basement levels.
The asset management work carried out by the French and German teams of Swiss Life Asset Managers, consisting of a marketing strategy for the division to offer modular and flexible office space, optimization of the building's energy performance, as well as improvements in user comfort made possible by the development of its services, made it possible to sell the fully occupied building.
Neuer Dovenhof is currently leased to 37 tenants, mainly 4 renowned international companies. This transaction was carried out for the benefit of Zurich Insurance Group.
