There are new ways of managing the costs associated with litigation, with an ever-growing selection of financial products geared at supporting those with legal claims. Those involved in a dispute are now able to access financial support which did not exist 10 years ago.
That said, there are two particular points to consider here, which Nick Storrs outlines in his recent article for The Wealth Net. First, litigation funding has gone from being something of a back-room operation, to having a recognised and sanitised corporate face. Second, there has been a quiet revolution in law firm pricing, with now greater pricing freedom and a growing market in law firm finance.
