Adam Rendle appointed as a Trustee of the Copyright Society of the USA

Adam Rendle, partner in our Copyright & Media group, has been appointed as a Trustee of the Copyright Society of the USA for a three year term, following a vote at its annual members' meeting.

The Copyright Society is a non-profit organisation devoted to copyright law awareness and education. Its mission is to foster interest in and advance the study and understanding of copyright law in literature, music, art, theatre, motion picture, television, computer software, architecture, and other works of authorship, and their distribution through both traditional and new media.

Adam's range of copyright experience enables him to support clients across the creative and tech sectors from the most cutting edge to the most traditional. His work covers litigation and disputes, content licensing, advertising and sponsorship agreements, corporate transactions, pre-publication advice and regulatory complaints.

Reacting to his appointment, Adam said:

The Copyright Society is home to world class copyright expertise and learning, and is deeply embedded in the copyright rich industries. This is natural territory for the firm and I am delighted to be involved. I look forward to advancing The Copyright Society's mission and telling its story to an international audience, and feel privileged to serve alongside a talented group of industry leaders. Its annual and mid-winter meetings, and its packed events programme, are a perfect opportunity for developing new ideas and insights into copyright's most important issues and for connecting with a broad and welcoming community."
