Adam Rendle, our UK Head of Copyright, was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Copyright Society of the USA as assistant secretary at its annual meeting held in Chicago. He will hold this prestigious position for a two-year term. He is the first member of the Executive Committee to be based outside North America.
The Copyright Society is a non-profit organisation devoted to copyright law awareness and education. Its mission is to foster interest in and advance the study and understanding of copyright law in literature, music, art, theatre, motion picture, television, computer software, architecture, and other works of authorship, and their distribution through both traditional and new media.
Adam provides his clients with specialist expertise covering all copyright types and creative and tech sectors, from the most cutting edge to the most traditional. His work encompasses product counselling, litigation and disputes, content licensing and acquisition, corporate and catalogue acquisitions, advertising and media agreements, and pre-publication advice.
