Taylor Wessing has advised Bridgepoint Growth on its growth capital investment in Elgin, the home of roadworks.org, the local and national planning, management and communications hub for roadworks, road closures and traffic disruptions.
This is the second growth capital investment which Taylor Wessing has advised Bridgepoint Growth on over the last year, following their investment in maternity-wear retailer Seraphine in 2017.
This deal was multidisciplinary and involved collaboration between Taylor Wessing's Private Equity and Corporate Technology practice groups.
Commenting on the transaction, partner and Head of the Private Equity practice group, Emma Danks commented: "The nature of transport is shifting, becoming increasingly digitalised and being served by innovative software solutions. Bridgepoint Growth's acquisition of Elgin is an opportunity to enter into a dynamic marketplace."
"This transaction is an example of the cross-practice projects we are known for, including private equity, technology, tax and employment. We look forward to continuing to work with Bridgepoint Growth on their expanding acquisitions."
