Taylor Wessing Ireland has advised on some of the most high-profile and market leading transactions in the Irish market during 2023.

Key highlights for 2023 include acting for: 

Real Estate

French asset manager, Corum Investments on its acquisition of George’s Quay House. This was one of the top five commercial property deals by value in Ireland of 2023.

Mergers & Acquisitions

Japanese multinational, Ricoh on its acquisition of  Irish IT services provider, PFH Technology Group.  This was one of the most substantial shareholder exits by transaction value from an Irish private company in 2023.

Leading UK audit, tax and consultancy adviser, RSM UK on its acquisition of RSM Ireland. Both firms are members of RSM International which is the sixth largest network of audit, tax and consulting firms globally. 

Mail Metrics, a specialist in Outsourced Customer Communications and finalist in the 2023 Deloitte Fast 50, on its acquisition of Dafil. 

The shareholders of Data Solutions, a specialist in IT solutions distribution on the sale of their shares to NASDAQ-listed Climb Global Solutions, Inc.

Venture Capital and Growth Equity

European specialist growth investor Verdane, on its €26 million Series B investment in clean energy firm, UrbanVolt. This was one of the highest value growth equity investments in an Irish company in 2023.

Tailr, a high potential Irish fashion tech company, on its seed funding round. The funding round was led by Irish venture fund, Delta Partners, English venture fund, Haatch, and Enterprise Ireland. 

Equity Capital Markets

Molten Ventures plc, a leading European venture capital firm which is listed on both the London and Euronext Dublin stock exchanges, on its recommended all share offer for Forward Partners plc and related £55 million fundraising.

Banking and Finance

Canada Life Reinsurance in its provision of €100 million in funding to specialist Irish central bank regulated consumer lender, Spry Finance.

Secret Escapes, the world's leading members only online travel deals company, on its successful completion of an equity raise and refinancing fully supported by existing shareholders and lenders.
