The UK's Online Safety Bill – first look

The UK's proposed Online Safety legislation will introduce a duty of care for services which allow sharing of user-generated content to protect their users from harm. The variety of services which may be subject to the new laws is potentially wide.

The draft was published on 12 May so UGC services can now start to prepare with more confidence and develop their public policy responses. Our webinar discusses the scope and impact of the Bill and the practicalities of preparing for it.
