Blockchain arbitration opportunities

As Poland’s fledgling Arbitration Court for Blockchain reportedly sees its first cases, Laurence Lieberman and Dr. Ewelina Stobiekca explore the scope for such cases in the country and beyond in a recent article appearing in CDR Magazine (subscription required).

The Chamber of Commerce of Blockchain and New Technologies was launched in Poland in August 2018, with the Polish Arbitration Court for Blockchain launching three months later.

The first of its kind in Europe and a rare beast on the world stage, with similar courts operating in Japan and Dubai, the Chamber of Commerce has been set up to tackle how Blockchain is changing many industries, including financial, energy and trade.
