As we approach 2025, is your business ready for the upcoming major changes to the UK immigration system?

An ongoing digitalisation project means that from January 2025 the UK will move to a fully digital immigration system. Anyone with a BRP card or other immigration permission in a physical document must apply for an eVisa instead by the end of 2024.

January also sees the next phase of the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) roll out to most non-EU countries including North America and Asia. All travellers from those countries that don’t already have UK immigration permission will need to apply online for ETA permission before travelling to the UK.

Join us for our latest webinar for advice on how employers should approach:

  • The transition to eVisas and steps you should take now to support your workforce.
  • The introduction of the ETA and its impact on planning business travel.
  • Immigration compliance under the new Labour government noting that enforcement action against rogue employers and non-compliant sponsors is on the increase.
  • Recruitment strategy and sponsorship planning after the increases to minimum salaries in April 2024.
