Why place the arts at the centre of our responsible business strategy?
Creative thinking is at the heart of our culture and we see art as an important instrument of change. Our partnerships with art galleries and charities, such as the National Portrait Gallery and the Roundhouse, play a central role in helping us to broaden our horizons by encouraging analytical thinking and understanding of different perspectives.
Our partnership with the National Portrait Gallery
As part of our partnership with the NPG, all Taylor Wessing employees have free admission to all exhibitions at the National Portrait Gallery throughout the year. We also organise curated tours for colleagues and clients for the Taylor Wessing National Portrait Gallery Photography Prize. We want to make a positive impact in our local communities, so we’re excited to support our iconic local art venue, the Roundhouse. There's a natural affinity between the work the Roundhouse is doing to inspire young people and the importance we place on supporting the arts, inclusion and the community. Our partnership also goes both ways, with our people and clients gaining rich experiences through creativity workshops and mentoring young people. Image credit: Nici Eberli.
Visit the RoundhouseWe have an active Taylor Wessing Arts Society which brings the arts further into our workplace through our programme of lunchtime talks, exhibition tours, theatre trips and other creative workshops in our workplace.
We’re able to offer all our employees a discount on the National Art Pass which gives free access to 240 museums, galleries and historic places, along with 50% off entry to major exhibitions, including those at Tate, V&A and National Museum of Scotland.
