Margot van Gerwen

Margot is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property practice group and specializes in copyright-, trademark-, and design protection.

Her experience also extends to media law and e-commerce. In addition, Margot advises her clients on advertisement related topics, such as misleading and comparative advertising and labelling matters.  

As a skilled litigator, Margot will represent and guide you in complex disputes. She regularly litigates in both Dutch  and international courts – including the Court of Justice of the European Union – and handles opposition and nullity proceedings before the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Negotiating and drafting license agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s), collaboration agreements and R&D agreements is part of her daily activities.
