Led by Munich-based partner Sven Schweneke, Taylor Wessing advised the carve-out investor Ecco Group on the acquisition of two cereal production facilities in Bromborough (UK) and Itancourt (France) from Nestlé. The Sincereal Group, founded by the Ecco Group as part of this process, creates a strong platform with a focus on private label ready-to-eat muesli and breakfast cereals, supplying retailers, catering businesses and industrial customers in the food industry throughout Europe.
Together, the two complementary locations cover the entire spectrum of ready-to-eat cereal products, building on a solid foundation of quality, service and innovation. With more than 500 employees and total sales of around €150 million, the Sincereal Group is well positioned for future growth.
