We have advised Locum's Nest, a UK healthcare workforce solutions provider on their acquisition by US healthcare workforce giant Aya Healthcare.
Locum’s Nest was founded by physicians Dr. Nicholas Andreou and Dr. Ahmed Shahrabani, to streamline how NHS hospitals fill open shifts with qualified physicians, advanced practice and other healthcare professionals. Its cloud-based platform was the first to establish a managed float pool spanning multiple hospitals and regions.
The acquisition will allow both Locum's Nest and Aya to continue to excel in their respective countries, to share best practices, technology and innovations, enhancing value for clients. Locum's Nest will continue operating under its own brand and as part of Aya will use the scale and infrastructure to operate nationwide
Aya healthcare is the largest healthcare talent software and staffing company in the US.
Taylor Wessing has been advising Locum's Nest for 10 years on multiple different matters and was delighted to advise the company on its sale to Aya Healthcare.
